Our approach to safety
KAKERU is operated with the following systems and policies so that players, parents, clubs and scouts can use it with confidence.
Identity checks
We verify players, guardians, clubs and scouts. Only identity-verified guardians can give consent.
Affiliation checks
We confirm clubs, schools and academies exist and that staff belong to them.
Guardian approval for minors
Under-18 players are hidden from scouts until a guardian approves. Guardians also approve applications and contact.
Visibility settings
Guardians and players choose who can see the profile (domestic only, or overseas too).
Limits on photos, schools and location
Addresses, phone numbers and emails are never shown to scouts. School names and detailed locations aren't collected.
In-platform messaging
Conversations stay inside KAKERU. Phone numbers, emails and social accounts are blocked automatically.
No improper direct contact
Contacting players directly before approval is prohibited and leads to suspension.
Report, block, suspend
Anyone can report concerns anonymously; KAKERU reviews and suspends accounts when needed.
Activity and message logs
Who viewed which player and when, staff actions and message histories are kept.
No improper recruitment
Poaching players unfairly or recruiting with false conditions is prohibited.
No requests for money or fraud
Asking players or parents for money, or any fraud, is prohibited and leads to immediate suspension.
Checks on contact from abroad
Overseas clubs and scouts go through the same review, and can only make contact if a guardian allows overseas visibility.
Working with country partners
Partners apply the same safety standards for identity checks, affiliation checks and support.
Deleting personal data
Deleting your account removes your personal data. Requests are also accepted via the contact form.
A contact point for parents
Parents can consult us through the contact/report form.
